Description

You are bidding on a beautiful cacheted United States First Day Cover honoring the Opening of the 1964 New York World’s Fair.   This is Scott# 1244 and the first day of issue is April 22, 1964.   The entire envelope and cachet is in color and the cover is marked Fleetwood in the lower right.
While I am not a stamp dealer, I am a lifelong stamp collector and member of APS for over 40 years.  Trying to winnow my collection a bit.  Selling some odds and ends.   The cover is in mint condition.  It is an unaddressed envelope and has not been sealed.  The envelope itself is clean and free of tears or marks.  Corners and edges are crisp.
Shipping will be $1.25 to anywhere in the lower 48 states.
Payment is expected within 72 hours of the close of the auction.
