-I am selling my 1966 Mustang Fastback project car. Title is in hand free and clear, and I am selling “as is” with no warranties expressed or implied and I make no guarantees of status or condition, as it would be impossible to account for every single detail, but I will do my best to be as forward and forthcoming as possible!

This car has been a labor of love for over 3 years. The intention was to turn it into a high speed road racing – track machine. It should be considered a restomod, as almost nothing functional in the car is original and much of the body work is new. There is no rust on this car! (Minus maybe typical surface rust in areas on the underbody and where the weather stripping was on the door windows) The underbody was fully primed and painted during our modifications. The list of modifications and new parts on this car is extensive. I’ll list some highlights here, and will have a full breakdown further down.
New 363 Ford Strokers motor with a Dart block, new T-56 6 speed transmission, new Mike Maier adjustable front racing suspension – coil overs, upper arms with Shelby drop, lower arms, sway bar, Maier racing pan hard bar and bilstein shocks in the rear, Maier racing leaf springs with leaf layered toward the front to improve rear traction, Maier racing subframe connectors, new electrical system, new Fuel Safe fuel tank, Brown and Mills fuel and power steering lines, stainless steel brake lines, 13” (approx.) brakes front AND back, 6 piston up front, 4 in the rear, 18” forge line 3 piece wheels, 9.5” in the front, 10” in the rear, Michelin PS4 Tires, Optima battery relocated to the rear, electric fan and aluminum radiator, carbon fiber (layered with fiberglass) ring brothers hood and hood hinges, and much much more (broken out in bullets below.)

There are exterior modifications that have been started but have not been completed including shaving off the drip rail above the doors, the metal fender flairs that we have been working on (slowly!) to accommodate the improved suspension and wider wheels, and the rest of the body work to smooth out scratches, dents, etc… to prep for paint. The car is currently mostly in primer.

The car drives great! It could use a more precise alignment and some other tweaks, but the rack and pinion steering, in combination with the JRI Maier racing suspension, powerful – purpose built 363 Fordstroker motor, 6 speed Tremec transmission, and electric exhaust cutouts with manga flow exhaust, make for an exhilarating driving experience. This car just needs someone to take it across the finish-line!

I have many purchase records and will try to list most of the new parts and work we have done below. I am happy to answer any and all questions, and welcome in-person visits and inspection. To contact me, reach out on this site and I will happily provide my phone number to discuss details if requested.

As you can see, there are countless new parts and upgrades that make this mustang so unique. As far as running components and features, it is mostly complete, with a few loose ends. Where it needs love now is in the cosmetic department.

If you want an awesome restomod, worked on carefully and thoughtfully having form follow function, but want the freedom to make the vehicle look exactly the way you want it to, then this is the project for you to complete!

Like I said, this car is being sold “as is” but I want to be as transparent as possible. I love cars and this car community and want the next owner to have just as much enjoyment working on it as I have had!

I have a few odds and ends, front bumper, interior parts, etc… to give with the car if desired. Just ask upon delivery.

I hope you trust that this car has been taken good care of and is in great condition for its final owner! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or if you would like to come see the car.

Thank you for you interest.
